Jakub Cheban is a Director of Photography (DOP) and director, recognized for his work across commercials, music videos, and films. He began his career as a camera assistant and operator on projects like Kryštof, Perinbaba 2, Čas nádejí, Amnestie and Maria Theresia.

​As a Director or DOP, Jakub has worked with clients such as BMW, VÚB Bank, Depaul, TIPOS, HYZA, VšZP, UPC Broadband etc. His style of DOP work is known for its dynamic visuals and lighting. A key project, the short film Sami, where he served as DOP, was shortlisted for the Student BAFTA awards. Commercial BAUERIA which he directed and shot won a silver spike at Zlatý Klinec in the film category, further establishing his presence in the advertising world.​ Despite working as a director, Jakub also continues to work as a DOP. He is blending creativity with technical skill in all his projects whether he's behind the camera or leading a production.
